Through the Goldman Sachs and Birkbeck Diversity Scholarship, we are pleased to offer 10 scholarships of £5,000 per year to Black undergraduate students to increase diversity in finance. These scholarships have been made possible through generous support from Goldman Sachs Gives.
Students who are successful in securing a scholarship will have the opportunity to take part in additional engagement opportunities, including events, academic and professional development programmes, mentoring with experienced professionals and networking.
Birkbeck is a world-class research and teaching institution, a vibrant centre of academic excellence and London's only specialist provider of evening higher education – which means students can balance studying with work, family and other commitments. These cash bursaries will offer financial support towards living costs for new undergraduate students with a Home fee status.
Successful candidates will be awarded a £5,000 cash bursary in each year of one of the three-year undergraduate programmes listed above.
