In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, The University of Manchester is offering five scholarships to students in Bangladesh, France, Greece, India, ?Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey, applying for one-year master’s programmes, who will enrol in the 2025/26 academic year.
The GREAT Scholarships 2025 programme, launched by the British Council together with 71 UK universities, supports postgraduate students to access world class UK higher education opportunities.
The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects at the?71 institutions?across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The University of Manchester, in its present form, was created in 2004 by the amalgamation of the Victoria University of Manchester and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). Manchester is offering eligible students a GREAT scholarship of £15,000 towards tuition fees for one-year master’s programmes in specific subject areas to students from Nigeria who will enrol in the 2025/26 academic year.
You must complete a GREAT scholarship application form by 24 April 2025. This will be emailed to all relevant offer holders by the International Office.
Successful applicants will be notified by 30 May 2025.
