St Leonard’s Postgraduate College is pleased to announce the College’s Postgraduate Travel Awards scheme, which supports postgraduate students with any travel that would benefit their research and development. Applications for the award are open to all postgraduate students who are matriculated at the University of St Andrews for any postgraduate degree.

Aim and Benefits of University of St Andrews 2025 St Leonard College Postgraduate Travel Award (Funded) Postgraduate Scholarship

The grant can cover travel expenses towards travel, accommodation and subsistence for any trips taken up to July 2025.

Value of award (per year) is up to £300 for each successful application

 

Requirements for University of St Andrews 2025 St Leonard College Postgraduate Travel Award (Funded) Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

Applications for the award are open to all postgraduate students who are matriculated at the University of St Andrews for any postgraduate degree.

Additional criteria

• Fully matriculated students at the University of St Andrews for any postgraduate degree (including co-tutelle PGR students while they are based at St Andrews)
• Applicants will be required to submit:
  • Project outline, including an explanation on how the proposed travel will support the research and development of the student
  • Budget outline
  • Travel booking receipts or travel expenses quotations
  • Short academic reference from supervisor or tutor (alternatively, references can be submitted directly to [email protected])

• Application assessment: Evidence based (e.g. sport/music/travel)

• Available to: Current students

• Mode of study: Full time, Part time - daytime, Online

• Geographical criteria: No restrictions
