For new international students enrolling in the MRes Physics program in the 2023–2024 academic year, which starts in January 2024, scholarships of £4,000 are offered. Candidates who demonstrate in their admissions application strong academic achievement (past and/or present) and any relevant extracurricular or professional experience will be given scholarships on a competitive basis. There will be a revolving scholarship program. Early application for admission is suggested, as awards may be given out early in the application season.

Requirements for University of Strathclyde Masters Scholarship Qualification
- The student should be a new, fee-paying foreign student who has been offered a full-time spot in the MRes Physics program at the Faculty of Science, starting in January 2024.
- Candidate should have their own money. Pupils who obtain full scholarships—for instance, from an embassy or government office—will not qualify
Other terms and conditions:
- For consideration for a Faculty of Science International MRes Physics Scholarship, candidates must satisfy all of the aforementioned requirements for eligibility.
- After obtaining their offer of admission, applicants will be informed if they have been selected for a scholarship within four weeks.
- Recipients of the scholarship must enroll in the January 2024 intake and continue to fulfill all prerequisite requirements.
- The scholarship will be given to the student to help with their tuition costs. It can't be applied to deposit payments.
- Each prize will be worth £4,000. The selection of successful candidates will be based on their past and/or present academic achievement as well as any relevant extracurricular or professional experience.
- During their studies, scholarship winners will be asked to participate in student ambassador activities, such as encouraging events and activities aimed at recruiting new students.
- There will be a revolving scholarship program. Early in the application round, awards could be given out.
- The deadline to be taken into account is December 14, 2023.
- The University of Strathclyde grants scholarships to students just once every academic year.
- The ultimate say on scholarship distribution belongs to the Faculty of Science. Appeals won't be taken into account.

There is no application form for this scholarship. All MRes Physics offer holders who meet the eligibility criteria will be automatically considered for a scholarship. Candidates should ensure that all relevant information and achievements are submitted with their application for admission. This can be included with their application as an additional upload.
