About University of Surrey

The University of Surrey is a public research university located within the county town of Guildford, Surrey, in the South East of England, United Kingdom. The university specialises in science, engineering, medicine and business. It received its charter on 9 September 1966, and was previously situated near Battersea Park in south-west London. The institution was known as Battersea College of Technology before gaining university status. Aim and Benefits of University of Surrey Masters Scholarship

Scholarships can cover between 10 – 50% of the total tuition fee and will be awarded on a rolling basis. Candidates who apply early in the admissions round may therefore have a greater chance of receiving an award.

Requirements for University of Surrey Masters Scholarship Qualification

• You must have a lower second-class degree (or equivalent), though alternatives may be considered.
  Open to UK, EU, and international students.
• You must be studying full-time or part-time.
• You must be self-funded or receiving partial sponsorship/loan.
• International and EU students need to meet the English language requirement (IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in each component, or equivalent).
